CHARITY YOGA WINTER WORKSHOP

Monday 21st November 2011 @ 6:30pm - 8:30pm
Harmans Cross Village Hall

The last Purbeck Yoga Class of the year will be a yoga 'workshop', an event to raise awareness about obstetric fistula and the work that Medecins Sans Frontieres (Doctors without borders) do to help women with this problem and much more.

All money from this event will be going to the Medecins Sans Frontieres as Harmans Cross Village Hall is very kindly being provided free of charge.

The workshop will comprise of gentle yoga asana (poses) and pranayama (breathing exercises) and a long Yoga Nidra (relaxation) and meditation. Just what is needed leading up to the hectic Christmas schedule and into winter. The class will be suitable for ladies during pregnancy.

Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF) healthcare teams work with pregnant women to prevent the occurrence of obstetric fistula and are also working to repair fistulae and rebuild the affected women's lives. In 2010, surgical teams repaired fistulae for about 1,000 women.

Just to remind everyone that there is no yoga class this Bank Holiday Monday at Harmans Cross Village Hall. All other yoga classes, including pregnancy and postnatal yoga classes running as normal. Hope to see you soon.

Tuesday Morning Class is moving

Tuesday morning Yoga class at the Springfield is moving to Fruzebrook Village Hall from 9th August... with a new time of 9:30am - 11am

There will be NO classes any of the Bank Holiday Mondays at Harmans Cross Village Hall: Monday 25th April, Monday 2nd May or Monday 30th May.

All other classes will be running as usual so if you would like to join us on another you would be welcome.

Friday 18th March: Red Nose Day Taster Evening @ Swanage Bay View Holiday Park

Evening runs 6:00pm-9:00pm with free 30min Yoga class at 8:30pm

There will taster sessions of all the different classes and events that happen at Bay View, including Belly Dancing, Jive etc and of course Yoga! There will be a free 30 minute Yoga session at 8:30pm, so please let anyone you know that is interested in trying a Yoga class or come along yourself if you haven't been for a while and want to ease back in slowly. I will also be offering a chance to win a free Yoga class for you and a friend. All proceeds will be going to Red Nose Day (other than food or drink).

Exclusive Ladies Evening - FRIDAY 18 MARCH

Being held at The Springfield Country Hotel being run by The Natural Spring Health & Beauty Spa.

A night full of indulgence....there are lots of different stalls and a raffle with all proceeds being donated to THE ARMY BENEVOLENT FUND. I have donated at 'pink' yoga mat and bag with a free Yoga class voucher to be raffled off during the evening. I will also be offering a chance to win a free Yoga class.

This Monday evening there will only be the earler class (6pm-7:30pm) at Harmans Cross Village Hall.

On Tuesday, Zoe Kleinman, a reporter for BBC Radio Solent came to the Pregnancy Yoga class at the Swanage Children's Centre and interviewed myself and the ladies in the class about Pregnancy in the Purbecks.
